Green waste refers to biodegradable garden waste such as hedge trimmings and clippings.
Dublin City Council accepts green garbage at the following Bring Centres
Dublin Southside
- Windmill Road Crumlin Dublin 12
- Gullistan Terrace, Rathmines, Dublin 6
Dublin Northside
- Collins Avenue, Dublin 9, opposite DCU entrance
- Oscar Traynor Road Coolock Dublin 5 (beside Garda Station).
- Grangegorman Bring Centre, Upper Grangegorman Road, Dublin 7
Here are the Green Waste charges
- EUR2 per bag (80 litres max)
- EUR16 per skip bag (1m3); skip bags can be purchased at most hardware stores.
Green waste can be disposed of on-site by paying a fee.
Cash machines in each location only accept coins and exact change. No notes are accepted. Staff cannot access coins so it is a good idea to bring your own change.
Conditions for Use
- All green waste should be bagged
- Green waste from commercial businesses will not be accepted
- For each bag of green refuse presented to the Bring Centres, payment must be made
- For handling skip bags, two people are needed
